Name: Raymond Ryan
Position: Head PGA Professional at GBGR
As a junior, Ray played golf at his local club in Thurles, where he proceeded to turn his passion into a career and trained as a pro under Sean Hunt. From there he took up position as head pro in Athenry Golf Club and continued to extend his expertise to other clubs including Gort, Loughrea, Mountbellew, and Curragh-West.
To date, Ray has coached five all-Ireland winning teams as well as twenty-two provincial winning sides. He has also enjoyed some success on the Irish PGA circuit as well as representing Ireland abroad.
