Galway Bay Golf Resort are delighted to be helping Nick Edmunds during the completion ofhis journey from Malin Head to Old Head, as Nick will be walking the 2000km of the Wild Atlantic Way – with a set of Golf Clubs on his back!
Nick will be playing the 4th Hole of every course along the Wild Atlantic Way planting the Global-Golf4-Cancer flag on each one, and has already completed the first 1000km, starting in Malin Head and finishing in Galway. On 4th September Nick will resume the second Leg of his journey, walking from our Neighbours Galway GC to Galway Bay, where he aims to arrive at 4pm and play the 4th hole. Nick completed the first half and took a break to protect himself from the sun – on top of all of this, Nick is currently in remission from neck cancer. He aims to complete his journey on 1st November in the old Head of Kinsale.
We are delighted to be helping him on his trek, and wish him every success with his journey. If anyone wants to make a donation they can do so here http://globalgolf4cancer.org/page-5/donations.html , and more info can be found herehttp://globalgolf4cancer.org/

Well done Nick and best of luck, from all at Galway Bay Golf Resort!
